In my bachelor thesis, I investigate how the nonclassicality of multi-mode states of light can be identified from photon-counting data, combining concepts from quantum optics with data-driven classification methods. More broadly, I am interested in photonic quantum systems, the role of nonclassical light as a resource, and the use of programming and numerical methods to analyse complex physical data.
